Amazing old house with spectacular views. Lots to do and view for all ages. Beautiful gardens, delightful walk down to the old mill. Would highly recommend.

Despite the bitterly cold weather (The Beast from the East making its presence felt over much of the country) the sun shone and this is clearly a very scenic area, at the side of an estuary. Nowhere was open though (too early in the year) but this is still quite an interesting place to explore

A really nice place to see if you are visiting Cotehele Quay. The walk to the Mill is around 20 minutes from the Quay and goes through a lovely tree lined pathway. The Mill includes a waterwheel, Blacksmiths, Saddlers, Wagon Shed, Pottery and Woodworker.

There is no cafe here so either eat at the Edgcumbe before walking here or bring a picnic.

Very nice place to visit. Great house and Gardens.intresting mill and walks. Nice walk down hill to mill from house, not so nice walking uphill. Use both car parks.

On the NT site at the lower end best reached from the lower car park. Very interesting mill but also the nearby cottages that have craftsmen working. Ceramics well worth a look.
This NT property is difficult to access on narrow ( even by Cornish standards) roads.
