I visit the Tourist Information Centre many times to pick up leaflets, bus time tables and general information. On different occasions there has been a very kind gentleman on hand to help you search for what you need (possibly a volunteer) but the general staff have always been pleasant and patient. It can get very busy at times and sometimes you may have to wait a while to have your query answered, but they do their best to accomodate you as soon as possible.

A really nice place to pop into with any queries about the surrounding area. The staff do their utmost to find out anything you need to know. Five stars!

This is worth going in for if only for the audio guide of Chesterfield. I lived there for three years and still found out lots of things i didn't know! And it's free!

The tourist information centre is located next to the Parish Church with the twisted spire,so it is easy to find. Simply look skyward for the spire and head towards it!

It's a modern accessible building and I liked the Information about Chesterfield's famous sons and daughters that was portrayed on its exterior walls. It imbued a fantastic local pride.
