After a 2.5 hr drive from berkshire to this absolutely stunning 5 star lett in the Carmarthen countryside was worth the journey. Set in a beautiful lanscape ,this 17th century converted dairy has been completely renovated and converted into three one bedroom appts of which we stayed in the Bluebell suite.
From the moment you open the fantastic modern take on a stable door it smelt of pure rich luxurious indulgement where the only word to describe can be quality. Absolutely spotless interior with stunning bathroom and 5* bed...everything showed a very well thought out design built to the higest standard including , remote control velux windows with electric blinds.
The added bonus of staying in the Bluebell suite was the seperate living room with flat screen tv and Tea and coffee making facilities along with a daily supply of wesh cakes and shortbread made it a beutiful place to relax.
Another quality touch was the breakfast ordering where a simple but well explained tick sheet made it feel like "kids in a sweetshop"...all these great little touches made it feel like you were in a hotel.
Breakfast was served in the main house owned by Ian and debbie Baker , along with the fantastic breakfast using only locally sourced food ! you can get an amazing insight into local life , and absolutely nothing was too much of a problem for the two Patrons......once again the quality shone through, with free maps and info all easily explained, a godsend if you were on a walking holiday
A definite 5* experince that i would recomend to everyone.
