If you are looking for a place that is calm enough to swim in with sandy bottom, not rip current and small boogie board worth waves for beginners - then this is your beach! Shade tress all around. Very shallow so great for the kids. Decent parking but fills up fast...

Great beach for boogie boarding. Also, easy access to the Ritz’ Burger Shack for lunch and cocktails makes it even better.

This is a safe beach to take your kids. But do stay out of the water when the wave and take the warning sign serious. Lifeguard on duty, clean with bathrooms and shower.

A nice little beach! Not at all for snorkeling but great for boogie boarding. Parking can be a challenge for sure. I had to park way up the road but it was fine. The restaurant - burger shack -overpriced, busy and slow.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the hotel had an entrance onto the D T Fleming Beach. The entrance was on the left end of the beach and it seemed to be quieter there. There were rocks there where the sea turtles liked to hang out. It was really cool to snorkel and see them or to watch them from up on the rocks. There was a public entrance on the right side of the beach as well as what looked like a life guard station. The water wasn't too rough for snorkeling.
