We arrived at the hotel on the 1st March, The staff warmly welcomed us and from that time until we returned home their service was excellent. Especially Dinesh, who was never tired of smiling anytime you see him.

The view of the hotel was exceptional, it's so relaxing and calm. The natural environment is the jewel which makes this hotel special.

The beautiful Mapakada Lake added more beauty to our trip, where we got the opportunity to go on a boat ride with famous "Sunil Mama" and also with his guidance we were able to row a boat on our own, which was my first experience.

Food was awesome :) nothing to complains about it. it was with so much flavour where I have never experienced 6 meals from the same hotel without a single complain :))) Thank You Cheif :)

The manager and all the staff at Mapakada was very humble and was always checking on all their guests.

Thank You, Mr and Mrs Kumudula de Silva and Staff at Mappakada Village for making our journey a truly a memorable one.

I was here with my family on 22nd and I enjoyed every minute of my stay. We booked the family room with 2 large beds. the room did not have a view but it relay did not mater because we were their only for one night.
my daughter enjoyed the pool the talking cockatoo birds and all the wild life.
the hotel is well maintained and organized. the food was excellent! the services - no words to explain. the staff was very friendly.
we checked out very early in the morning and they gave us breakfast packets witch was grate. i will definitely return back with my family.

a very Big Thank you to all the staff. keep up the good work.

This place is definitely of the tourist track. Along the road in a small village is this hotel. But what a nice place. Rooms are quite standard but the view on the lake is breathtaking. The garden is green and part of nature. We saw fruit bats, a giant squirrel and kingfisher from the garden. The pool overlooks the lake and is nice and refreshing. Restaurant serves traditional as well as European food. I would recommend this place for people who like it a little quiet.

A decent resort located close to mahiyanganaya and in fact the only hotel that has a view in this area. Located between the main road and a small lake. Good staff service and a good transit point while travelling to Ella or Badulla via Kandy. The rooms are quite comfortable and recently built. So clean and neat. The pool is overlooking a small lake and not in the best level of cleanliness, but provides the best views at evening and morning.
