All the family love going back year after year. The staff are so welcoming it is like revisiting and catching up with old friends. And of course the cliff-top location is unchanged in all its spectacular glory. Two Blue Flag golden sandy beaches within a very short walk, one of them directly below the main hotel building. An excellent swimming pool with path leading down to a bar and further on down to the hotel's private beach.

Although this beach isn't very big, and is mainly pebbles, what it lacks in sand it more than makes up for in character. The water is so clear you can easily see the little fish as they dart around you going about their business! Fun to swim across to the big rock that faces the shore and climb it for a great elevated view of the coast, and to swim from the private beach over to the other beaches, thereby working off at least some of the calories consumed at breakfast (see below).

We all love the food and drink at the hotel. Time was when we used to leave the hotel in the evening to try out the local restaurants. That was before the hotel seriously revitalised the evening meal selection - now we spend almost every evening gorging ourselves at the fabulous buffet. Breakfasts are pretty magnificent too... full English if you want, pancakes, yogurt, cereals, pastries, the lot. Oh boy, do they set you up for the day. The lightest of lunches is all one needs after that. Great to explore the different bars around the hotel, including the Corner Bar and the super stylish Lungomare both of which are wonderful spots to watch the sun go down.

Room Tip: Sea views are superb. Bungalows even better!

This hotel could be the absolute jewel of Lassi ,the sea and beach views are amazing.
The hotel is spotlessly clean.
We stayed in a room that overlooked the lobby entrance which we didn't really mind as kept the room cooler (sea view has sun all day ) .
Room a good standard and loads of storage , bed super comfy and bed linen good quality. Bathroom had a strange window that looked into bedroom but did have a blind to pull down should you want privacy.
Breakfast was always the same each day no variety .Tea and coffee served by waiting staff so hit and miss as to who looked after you that morning ,( some waiting staff worked amazingly hard ) may I suggest tea pots / coffee pots served to each table instead . Fruit juice awful cheap imitation .
Dinner was ok nothing special .
Drinks really overpriced cocktails 7/8 euros ( 5 euros in Lassi ) and wine 8 euros for 2 small glasses (paid 4 euros for small carafe in Lassi that gave 5 glasses ).
Mentioned before that long trouser for men at dinner which personally I felt a tailored short should of been accepted .
You would be allocated a table number on entrance to the dining area and the tables were really squashed my husband and I played me to you to you to me with the table so not to disturb neighbouring diners.
Lassi has lots of restaurants and bars along the strip a short walk from hotel .
Private beach rocky and you need shoes for the sea .Pool a little small but always found beds regardless of time.
If the hotel could address a few dining rules and issues then this place could be amazing .

We had a delightful holiday. The hotel is well managed and all the staff were polite, friendly and professional, and the cleaning girls did an excellent job every day in our room, and the hotel overall.
The location is beautiful and we adored the little private beach.
The food was delicious and fresh and varied and the restaurant staff were superb and very hard working.
The brochure clearly stated that there were slopes and a lot of paths to walk so we were prepared for that.
The only negative was the odd arrangement in the bathroom, that had a large window looking into the bedroom, so that as you used the shower etc, you could be seen. Also the loo window didn't have a blind so the light streamed into the bedroom through the bathroom window. We solved the problem by hanging a towel over it at night.
We had a great time overall and will definitely return one day.

We have been staying at white Rocks for the last few few days, with a few days left.
For the price, we feel that the hotel is overpriced and over-rated.
From the moment of arriving at the hotel, the welcome is poor to say the least.
We were handed a key card and that’s it.
No advise on how to find your room. Where the pool is or where the restaurant is.
Very strange set up.
The room was fine. Looking out onto the road. Shame no view, but not the end of the world.
The room was very clean and modern.
Cleaned to a high standard everyday.
The food is average at best.
Breakfast is from 7.30 to 9.30. However the girl who does the omelettes, doesn’t appear until 8.15 / 8.30. Should be able to have an omelette from 7.30, if that’s the opening hours. The juice is like a poor squash.
Evening meal, again very average.
We weren’t expecting to queue up, canteen style for the food. After queuing up, more often than not the food is lukewarm.
Also it seems the canteen is not big enough for the volume of people staying.
No problem with the long trousers, as this happens globally.
Even the allocated table is fine.
However due to the average standard we chose to eat out half the time and enjoyed the experience a lot more. Spoilt for choice locally.
We will definitely return to Kefalonia.
The island is a fantastic place to visit & explore.

Beautiful location, fantastic beaches close by, staff were amazing (shout out to Peggy, George, Christina and Yannis). Food was delicious, bungalows a great upgrade for quiet and a stunning views. Let's not forget the cleaners who were discreet and diligent ! Only negative was having to wear long trousers for dinner (very hot) as smart shorts look better than track suit bottoms, and plastic glasses at the beach bar not in line with hotel standard. Both not exactly a hardship. Would return to this wonderful island in the sun.
