“A Lovely and well equiped cottage, we will go back”
Reviewed 30 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay. The views are breathtaking and you can hike for miles both easy and challenging right out of the front door. There is a delightful church next door and my friend and I were enchanted by the beautiful bells on Sunday and don't miss the fantastic stain glass windows I have been to churches all over the world and I have to say these are magnificent. Make sure you get good directions to the cottage there is a right turn just before a narrow bridge in Llangattok that is not well marked.

“Restful”
Reviewed 14 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Beautiful cottage cosy and comfortable especially the beds and bedding. The kitchen was very well equipped and the gift of eggs, milk, bread, butter and welsh cakes was a very thoughtful touch. The area was very pretty with a lovely walk into Crickhowell and a visit to nearby Aberystwyth and Brecon is a must. Thank you Val you have a little gem of a cottage.

“Tranquil and well-equipped”
Reviewed 3 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Extremely practical cottage in a delightful location. Added bonus is the ease of walking into Crickhowelll. A great base to explore the Brecon Beacons. We also easily did a city day out in Cardiff, returning gratefully to relax in peace. The kitchen was outstandingly equipped, the bedrooms comfortable. Very spacious living area. Definitely hoping to return.

“Great location and lovely cottage”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The cottage was immaculate and incredibly well equipped. Location was perfect and so easy to stroll into Crickhowell where we enjoyed lunch at The Bear, ice-creams from Pavlova and sausages and bacon from the butcher! Didn't go near our car for 3 days which was great. Kids enjoyed our evening stroll along the peaceful canal and even took up the challenge of Table Mountain. Stunning views and so peaceful rewarded with cold drinks at the Bridge End Inn watching ducklings in the River Usk and fly-fishing. From booking to arriving - everything was simple and straightforward with immediate communication (especially helpful when I couldn't find the right gate!). Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a perfect home-from-home in the Brecons

“Little Gem”
Reviewed 23 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We used Little Shoe as a base for a weekend of walking.
The location was perfect for access to Table Mountain, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the surrounding hills without having to drive to the start of the walk.
The evenings were very enjoyable in Crickhowell (10 mins stroll) with it's fine pub (The Bear) and Indian Resturant.
The cottage itself was clean, well equipped and had plenty of room for the 4 of us.
The location is very peaceful and has the added interset of the church and grounds right next door.
The welcolm pack of bread, eggs, milk and cakes was a very nice touch.
We also appeciated all the information leaflets provided and the good quality maps available for loan.
The booking was handled perfectly with good communications.
All in all a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend a stay at Little Shoe.
As said by another reviewer - it's a little gem!
