“Tranquil weekend away!”
Reviewed 11 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Everything was lovely, from the beautifully decorated home-from-home décor, to the gorgeous tranquil surroundings, to the super hot tub to really unwind!
We were welcomed with a tour and some croissants and preserves plus milk, a really lovely touch.
Really recommend taking a walk, make sure you bring comfy shoes as you're quite a way from anywhere, but the beautiful villages around make it worth the effort!
Would highly recommend and will certainly be back, maybe in summer with some friends to make use of the peaceful outdoor relaxing areas!
Thanks for a fabulous break.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Gill was very friendly and helpful. My only negative would be that I don't think it's made clear before booking that the hot tub is for shared use, given that you pay extra for the hot tub I don't think it should be left up to chance whether you get to use it or not (as the people staying in the barn next door could use it every night!) And the hot tub itself could do with a clean.

Management Response
9 Jan 2015
When quotations are issued it is made absolutely clear that the hot tub room is a shared facility between both cottages. It is optional (not extra), whether guests wish to take advantage of this facility. The hot tub water is changed before each set of guests arrive; and was done the day before this girl and her partner arrived. All guests are informed that this is a hard water area and limescale can be a problem, although chemicals reduce this to the minimum.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We just got back from a long weekend away at Broxwood Barn. It was in the most beautiful location, so peaceful and relaxing. We had a lovely welcome from Gill and Clive who gave our stay a little personal touch by leaving milk in the fridge and croissants as a welcome :) the hot tub is the cherry on top! Definitely recommending this cottage for anyone who wants to totally relax in comfort and have a few days away from the mad rush. Perfect!

“Lovely Tranquil Break”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We have just spent a long weekend at Broxwood Barn Holiday Cottages my husband our dog and his parents the weather wasn't kind but this didn't matter. The cottage has been furnished beautifully and is equipped with everything you could need :-) Gill was very welcoming and her husband Clive is a carpenter by trade and he has done a fantastic job converting the stables to a high standard.. My mother-in-law was really impressed with the location and the facilities and the quality of furnishings, bed linen and towels. We couldnt recommend this place enough. We also recommend the Riverside inn.

“Amazing chill out time”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed in this cottage for 4 nights and had the most relaxing time ever. Gill and Clive the owners are lovely and welcoming. The pictures really don't do it justice. The hot tub was so relaxing and the location perfect...just what we needed to get away from the rat race! I will definitely be booking this again and can't wait to get back there.
