We visited this Sunday for the first time. What a find -absolutely lovely ,food was excellent and as I'm a vegetarian the choice was great ,a refreshing move from the normal predictable choices. The service was also excellent and the young lady that served us was so polite to a really very rude lady on the table next to us.All the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really relaxing the views are also stunning .Will definitely be going back with friends and would highly recommend .If it's on the menu please try the foragers soup and please be sure to keep room for the fantastic desserts.

Thanks Hilary and Tommy for another delicious Sunday lunch.

What's great about this restaurant is how it tailors its food to its guests. We have friends who we take to Caffi Ceunant because it is so accommodating, one is a coeliac, another a vegetarian and another a pescatarian - all are catered for. When I make the booking I let Hilary know and she makes sure there are a few options for our guests. What's more I'm a type 2 diabetic and there always a dessert option which is light on the dreaded sugar!

Can't wait to visit again!

Thank Richard M

We've been eating food prepared by Tommy and Hilary for 20 years now and we've never been disappointed. They use seasonal and local produce - some so seasonal and local that it was caught by Tommy the previous day in a local lake! There's also a varied menu, a blend of traditional and modern to suit all generations and tastes - and the food is expertly cooked.

Today we visited for Sunday lunch, I had Thai Seafood broth, accompanied with naan bread, plenty of mussels, prawn and fish and a hint of Asian spices, yum. Then I went traditional with roast loin and belly of pork and all the trimmings, homemade stuffing and apple sauce (nothing out of a packet or jar!) and just a little crackling. Followed by a blast from the past - chocolate sponge with Belgium chocolate sauce and old school style chocolate custard - yum again. All this for just over £20 - is great value and if you didn't want all 3 courses you can just have 1 or 2.
We recommend it wholeheartedly and look forward to a warm welcome when we visit again later in the year!

Stopped in for coffee on a warm and pleasant early Spring morning. The cafe is a great initiative for this lovely Welsh village, providing a hub for local people and visitors alike. It was very quiet on our early March visit, but we shall certainly be returning to enjoy lunch at some point from the enticing menu we read as we drank our delicious coffee.

3 generations comprising of 5 adults, and our 4 yr old, 2 yr old and 10 month old grandchildren all thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday dinner today at this wonderfully friendly cafe/restaurant.

The staff are wonderful, so accommodating, from managing to rearrange seating to fit us in at late notice to providing food to satisfy the whole family (including some very fussy individuals !)

Roast lamb was sumptuous, gravy, divine, veg, cooked to perfection. As for the desserts !! It was a hard choice between the triple chocolate gluten free cheesecake, the homemade strawberry pavlova, or homemade fresh cream profiteroles. Needless to say we all had different and I got to try them all Mmmmm.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Believe me if it can keep my lot happy and provide enough variety to fill them all up I cannot believe anyone will be disappointed.
