“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 25 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed here for 3 nights, with our adult son who has special needs. The cottage was beautful and a real credit to Les who built it! Chris and Les were lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The cottage met all our needs and it was lovely to be able to bring our dog with us for her first holiday. The cottage is in lovely surroundings with fabulous views of the countryside. Great place for visiting Symonds Yat Rock which is close by, and about an hours drive is Bourton on the Water which is very picturesque. We will definintely book to stay here again to explore more of this area and would recommend to all.

“So memorable....”
Reviewed 15 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

From the wonderful hospitality on arrival to he beautifully presented cottage, we cannot fault our Honeysuckle cottage experience. Chris and Les were such lovely hosts. The cottage was immaculately presented. The fields, views and landscape was breathtaking. Our children loved all the space to play and go adventuring. Our dog Maggie loved the open views and countryside scents. We loved relaxing on the patio after a long day walking in the Forest of Dean.
Overall the most perfectly wonderful week.
Thank you Chris and Les.

“We couldn't fault this beautiful, comfortable cottage”
Reviewed 6 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This is the nicest, most comfortable holiday let we have ever stayed in. It has obviously been very well thought out, with everything we needed and more, and joy of joys, good lighting! I usually have difficulty reading in holiday lets because of low levels of light, but even the lights in the bedrooms were great. Lovely to have eggs, bread, butter & milk provided, and also tea, coffee and sugar in case you have forgotten them. The bottle of red wine also provided by Chris & Les was icing on the cake, & the planters full of flowers were beautiful. Lots of things to do in the area, wish we could have stayed for a fortnight.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We will always remember viewing the Severn Bore with you. Thank you for the brochures you collected for us during your stay, you even continued our theme of whether dogs are allowed and how far the attraction is from us! We hope you will visit us again some day.

“Lovely renovated cottage with great access to explore Gloucestershire & Monmouthshire”
Reviewed 21 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We were welcomed very warmly by our hosts Chris & Les. They had really put themselves out by leaving milk, bread, eggs etc and a vase of fresh flowers. The cottage & garden were both immaculate and of course this week was the first of our hot weather and we were thankful to have a parasol to sit in the shade. Within 12 miles were Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow and Ross-On-Wye and the Forest of Dean was almost on our doorstep. We would definitely recommend Honeysuckle Cottage for the perfect break away.
