We chose this dog friendly hotel as it was on route for our holiday to Spain. It was a little noisy due to deliveries to the the supermarket opposite. The room matched the description , checking in and out was made easy as the staff spoke better English than the French I could manage.Overall it was comfortable and clean just what you need after an 8 hour plus drive from Calais. Car park is secure, and the rear of the hotel had a grassy area suitable for that last comfort break ( for our dog) before turning in.

Room Tip: rooms at the rear are quite.

We chose the hotel as it was midway on our trip from Spain to the Channel Tunnel and were really impressed with it. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very welcoming even with the dog with us. As it was a Saturday night there was no noise from the supermarket opposite which was not open on Sunday. We knew the restaurant would be closed but the bar was open. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with plenty of choice and good coffee (a real must have). Would definitely stay again.

Top tip, ask for a room at rear of hotel....

We stayed at the front, it was really noisy with deliveries to supermarket opposite in the early hours.

Staff, really really nice, lovely people.

Breakfast, lots of it and good value.

Dinner , okay, bit expensive for what it was...

Comfort... yes good, and very clean.

Facilities, best time to stay would be in summer or spring, nice pool and outside seating.

Only use as a stop over as on an industrial estate, not picturesque at all.

Over all. Would stay again, but only if I was guaranteed a quite room.

Staff won the best part of this hotel.

Following your feedback about the noise we have check the window of the room which is a triple glazed window completely soundproof the room from outside noise.
We are delighted to know that your stay has brought you satisfaction and hope to welcome you again when you next come to Gradignan.

We chose to stay here 2 nights to see Bordeaux. We were attracted by the tips in Trip Advisor to take the tram into town. (and what a lovely town, or city(?) Bordeaux is!)
The room was spacious and great (we chose the better half of the hotel (Comfort or Quality??) and we paid the small surcharge for the best room.
Breakfast was good and we did eat in the hotel one night and that was OK.
The fun started when we asked the lady at the counter where we went to catch the tram into town. We had read that this tram whisks you into the very centre in under 45 mins, and is very cheap, with easy parking for your car. She directed us very convincingly and we set off with sat nav to guide the car to the car park (about 5 - 10 mins)
The area we came to was a wide street with echelon parking and loads of spaces. Short walk to the station and very helpful French man helps us negotiate the wretched automatic ticket machine. 11 euros each, a bit more than we were advised but the job was done!
This concentration on the machine meant that we missed the train that had pulled in!
NEARLY ONE HOUR WAIT TILL THE NEXT! O.K. it was an hour to contemplate that our station marked on the ticket was not the one that the lady had suggested we should go to. Well, a little walk would not go amiss. When the "tram" did pull in it was 10 carriages long and looking very "T.G.V. ish"
It whisked us into the Bordeaux station in 5 and a half minutes, a bit less than the 45 mins we had read about. We got out and found ourselves at GARE SAINT JEAN BORDEAUX. a good mile and a half from the centre!!
As the purpose of the trip was to have a little walk around and an evening meal, we were somewhat disappointed by the semi seedy range of KeeBab, pizza, and shocking Sushi delights on offer.
The next morning we asked the new lady on the desk for directions and explained what had happened the previous evening! Her laughter was understandable 'cos it did make quite a good story! TGV instead of Tram!
This time, with much better instructions, we found the correct car park (although - be warned - it is not easy) got on the correct modern tram, had the correct 45 min journey into the centre and saw Bordeaux properly. It is a lovely city even if it does involve quite a lot of walking.
My advice: get the desk to draw you a map - the tram station is not that easy to locate and then you need to walk across a busy road to board the tram.
But, the hotel - ALL GOOD!
