Lovely down hill walk to the falls, so up hill on the way back! but is is not too steep so most could manage it. The falls are very nice but not spectacular. Parking is easy and it is not crowded.

Sort walk to falls, down hill to get to lookout, you need to walk back up to car park, easy walk not stairs, all gravel walkway. Would be great after heavy rain, although water was flowing well over falls.

Stunning falls! You can see them from the road or you can follow the path until you get to the base of the falls. the walk in will take you at least 20 minutes. Well worth the walk but make sure you are well shod.

We just loved coming here to St Columba Waterfall! The road here is quite windy but picturesque, but it's fairly easy to get to, although parking along the road might mean you need a bit of a walk. The stroll down was reasonably easy, but the lookout at the base of the waterfall was well worth it. Lots of greenery, moss, and ferns along the way. The view at the waterfall base is terrific, and there's lots of water cascading down from a long way up. We did some exploring near the waterfall base, and with some rock hopping and climbing could access rocks right in the middle of the waterfall for some closeup views. Amazing to see all that water rushing by from close up. There's some picnic tables at the top where we enjoyed some lunch, and very basic bush toilets. This waterfall was one of the highlights of our day.
