Description: Jolly Brewers is a welcoming place where you can enjoy a drink or food in our comfortable bar or if you prefer you can eat in our separate restaurant. In the summertime you can enjoy our nice beer garden at the front of the pub or the smaller garden with a small play area at the back of the pub. There is a covered smoking area with patio heaters for your comfort. There is also a free off road car park but also ample parking in Fen Road. You can also enjoy the convenience of our Bed & Breakfast at the rear.

We had a business lunch and despite ordering in advance ended up with two meals we didn't order and I had finished my meal before the final one arrived. Food is ok but not great and some combinations are a little odd. Not sure salad and coleslaw make sense as sides with chilli con carne. Place is nice enough and staff are friendly if not the most efficient.

What can I say that hasn't already been said??

The roast dinners come on three plates they are so big. I had the steak and chips, and couldn't finish it as the portion was huge. I would recommend and it is very good value for money

Stopped overnight here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Staff were lovely and the food was amazing.
It was great to have such a variety on the menu. We both had starters and a main but, sadly, we were too full for pud!
Will definately be going again

Went here for Sunday lunch. The place is lovely but badly let down by service and quality of food. We will not be returning any time soon. For those interested in the detail: The bar person who took our order missed off one of the starters. Two of us ordered Prawn Cocktail, very strangely presented (deconstructed?), pile of prawns in sauce at one end of the plate, a pile of shredded lettuce in the middle and a slice of brown bread at the end. No dressing on the leaves and no butter for the bread. Butter was asked for and arrived from the freezer. We had not finished our starters when the main courses arrived with the comment "are you ready for these yet?", we replied 'not really' but they were put on the table anyway. Manager/Owner said "we did not mean to rush you but the chef got a bit confused". (Probably rushing to get back out to the car park to have another cigarette - which is where he was when we arrived!) Mains arrived served on searingly hot plates, which were carried by the waitress using the most disgustingly dirty tea towels, commented on this and the next plate was carried using a dishcloth. Between us we ordered the roasts, ribs and a burger. Burger and ribs probably the best of the lot. Roasts were mass catering style, precooked and sliced meat and pretty tasteless overheated veg. Ordered a drink which had to be chased when it did not appear after 20 mins. This place has such potential, with nice dining area and lovely garden, it was not overly busy and they were clearly struggling to offer any sort of quality service. The Owner/Manager(?) was polite and welcoming but did not appear to be on top of things.
