Cosy, clean and charming gite in rural Normandy, with really helpful and friendly owners who live nearby. If you are after a quiet and tranquil holiday away from it all this is the place for you. It provided a great base for the family to explore the best that Normandy has to offer including Mt St Michel, D Day beaches, Bayeaux, Liseaux, Honfleur etc. The location is quite rural and you will definitely need a car if you want to venture to the main tourist sites. However, if you fancy cycling, the roads around the Gite are very quiet and the buildings and countryside is lovely and unspoilt.
The owners of the Gite were really helpful, providing info and tips on places to visit, local markets, good places to get groceries and even driving tips!
The whole family had a great time. Thank you Dennis and Tina for being so welcoming.
Clean and tidy. Quiet well appointed. Nice hosts. Maybe too far from the Normandy beaches. Perfect for a country getaway
My husband and I wanted to visit the Normandy Landing sites and museums as well as the Bayeux Tapestry. We visited all of them as well as enjoying the excellent cuisine and the Automaton museum in the local town.
We will certainly be back
