Great pub food at a reasonable price. Such a pity this pub only opens at lunch time at the weekends.

Eaten here in Jan and Feb on a Saturday and a Sunday. Saturday menu is really reasonable price wise but food reflects that; it’s only ok. Sunday lunch was soooo much better; fresh, tasty, lots of veg and gravy. Brilliant atmosphere both days, friendly bar staff, excellent serving staff, bar area really clean and welcoming (including to dogs). The Old Green Dragon is totally worth a visit but if you can get on a Sunday - and I’d recommend booking - definitely do it.

I ate here for the first time recently on a Friday night. There was 8 of us in our party and the service was very good throughout. The menu has a good choice of pub favourites. I had the Cajun chicken with chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions are generous and the whole thing was reasonably priced. Would definitely revisit.

Been tempted to try this village pub for a while now - it seems to be gathering a reputation for real ales. My first visit was however to the restaurant.

A reasonable choice of starters, mains and desserts was on offer and all four of us were pleased with our respective meals. There was nothing 'fancy' about the menu but its range means that there will be sometime to suit most tastes.

Overall an enjoyable evening with good value food, excellent ales and a warm welcome.

Visited last sun dinner. The kitchen is up and running again and the food and service excellent.
Good quality local produce cooked to perfection and served with smile.
Extensive menus including lite bites/pub classics and very traditional sunday lunch.
All washed down with a pint of the best priced and quality beer in the area,
MANY THANKS H.M
