Enjoyed a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch out on the patio at the weekend.
The menu is rather limited, but with a specials board and traditional offerings on the menu you are bound to find something you fancy.
The pub itself is beautifully decorated, really cosy and welcoming. The outside patios feature benches and tables which are perfect for those sunny days.
Located in the village of Oxton this pub sits right on the side of a road. Whilst the road wasn't particularly busy when we visited (1:30pm on a Saturday) I'd be less inclined to take young children if you intend to sit and eat/drink outside as I'd be constantly watching them.
In terms of price, we did find it a little pricey for lunch but the food was lovely and the portion sizes generous, it wouldn't put us off returning again in the future.
