Long walk up hill to get there if you don't get the transport but good views from the top. Coming down is just as hard!

Breathtaking view at the summit. Park at the base of the mountain and take a pick up for 25baht (return) to the summit. At the summit take a 360 panoramic short stroll to view the picturesque Loei mountain range and fields.

If you want to see a fog closer this is the best spot for you. Best time to watch in the morning every sunrise. The fog looks like a cloud and mallows that you want to eat. Hehehe. Surely I recommend as one of your bucket list... :)

There are great views to be had from the top of this mountain. But it is a bit of a rip-off having songtaews transport you to the top - the road to the top is perfectly OK for any vehicle and the local village has taken advantage of the 'tourist dollar' and closed the road to permit only these songtaews to transport people to the top ...... only in Thailand lol ;-) The driver and vehicle wait for you and then take you back down to the village, so you can't really meander at your leisure up the top because there's a little bit of pressure to leave.
