My family and I had a wonderful winter weekend at Grange Cottage in January. The cottage is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, a perfect get away from our home in London. Grange Cottage is in easy reach of the village of Amberley by foot up a country path leading to the Amberley Inn. The host was very accommodating- the cottage was immaculately clean and even the dog had a cosy basket and dog snacks provided! As it was a cold weekend, the roaring log burner provided a romantic and cosy atmos, accompanied by a glass of wine! The garden is beautiful and views from the front windows are breathtaking, particularly at sunset. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Grange Cottage at the beginning of April for one week and had a lovely time. We’re a family of six - four children under 11 - and it was perfect in terms of size and bedrooms.
The cottage is very cosy, comfortable, neat and clean, with clear instructions for everything - we’d highly recommend it. The hosts were very friendly and responsive from beginning to the end. Locally, there are some nice pubs serving decent food and within 10 minutes drive there are lots of things to explore, places to eat, shopping facilities etc.
We’ll no doubt return in future.
We loved staying at Grange cottage in the lovely town of Amberley. The cottage was extremely cosy and had some gorgeous little touches. We had beautiful views and sunsets from the Garden. We really enjoyed the local pubs, the Black Horse and the Amberley Inn and you've got the visit the Stroud Brewery on a Friday night. Our hosts left us a lovely bottle of the local wine, which was absolutely gorgeous and some milk and a few gifts which was a lovely welcome. We would definitely stay again.
