Great location on the edge of the Yarra Valley The room was fine - not overly large but the bed was comfy. The bathroom floor was dirty and the towels had definitely seen better (and fluffier) days. Check in was sooo slow.

We ate in the bar and there were several very good local wines on offer.
Frustrated that our meals were cold when they arrived.

Biggest negative was the noise. Tell me, please, why do you have to empty the bottle bins into the skip at 3am?!!!

Would I go back? Probably. Would I look at other options too? Yes.

I am floored that Accomodation Manager Angela is in a customer facing role. She is incredibly rude. She cuts you of when asking her something and she is very impersonal. We will never go back. Such a horrible experience.

York on Lillydale was fantastic. The photos I saw don’t do it justice at all , which is unusual as it is usually the other way around . The rooms were clean , comfortable and we had a lovely view of the lake . The staff at front desk were lovely and so helpful . Would highly recommend!
