Lovely place with great food. Went with friend for light lunch and pudding. Very good selection of food options even for gluten free. I had lovely soup gluten and dairy free but with loads of flavours. Good coffee and fantastic choice of home made cakes which I’m led to believe are made by local lady. Service is lacking a bit especially if you sit outside but that’s something that can be improved

Visited this morning. Ordered a bacon & sausage roll. Asked the server for ketchup on but despite writing this down did not bother to put any on. Only on leaving an checking my receipt I noticed I was charged £1.85 for a can of diet coke. We were sat by the fridge which was displaying price marked cans of diet coke @ 69p. Now whilst I appreciate that there are overheads to take into account when pricing but seriously asking over nearly £1.20 for the can that what is advertised & to get away with this they did not bring the can to my table but poured this into a glass so I did not see the can & probably did not get the full volume as was a small glass. Having inside knowledge of the soft drinks industry this is taking the piss to be honest. Food was good standard but I would not be buying drinks like this again.

Popped in for breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday at around 9.30. Already very busy but quickly shown to a table they could cope with a dog and baby in a high chair. Ordered a variety of items which were served quickly and efficiently. All good even my Avocado Smash with Smoked Salmon and 2 runny poached eggs but weren’t served with Sourdough toast. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said she would find out why, she never returned!! The lady with the glasses, who looked like the manager was fantastic. Would certainly go again.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are large. It will be great in summer to sit outside and look at the lake. Staff very friendly.
