My husband and I ate here twice 2 years ago on our last visit to Australia. We had really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and especially the food. So, when we were back in the area, we decided to treat ourselves again. The atmosphere was still good. However, the food was just okay. The service wasn't great either, but they were very busy. For the price we paid, we were quite disappointed as we felt that we could have cooked ourselves something much tastier for a fraction of the price. As they were busy, we assume that it is still a good restaurant. Maybe the chef was just having an off night or something. When my husband paid for our meals, the woman who took our money asked him how everything was. He told her that we were a little disappointed. She just said "oh", so he didn't elaborate on why we were disappointed as she didn't seem interested. Bummer...

Tasty food served hot, lovely atmosphere, friendly and genuine service - as if the staff genuinely liked working here.

We are all looking forward to going back to Embers. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. We (all five of us) chose a different grande pizza and after we had stuffed ourselves, we were given takeaway boxes to take the leftovers home. Yum!

We visited on a wet and miserable day but thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I opted for the Chicken Parmigiana which was served with fresh chips which were crisp and hot. This was followed by a Chocolate/Beetroot cake served with ice cream - a delightful presentation followed by a cup of tea.

Visited recently for lunch in the hills. Very tasty food,good service and pleasant surroundings.

Generous servings and excellent chocolate mousse.
