“Lovely, comfortable holiday home.”
Reviewed 11 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

We stayed here so we could visit the Bath Christmas market. Freshford station is a short walk away, and getting into and out of Bath was very straightforward.
The house was excellent, with very comfortable beds and good quality bedding, and lovely big soft bath towels.

“A Perfect Hideaway”
Reviewed 22 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The most perfect hideaway in the most glorious setting. What a find! The coach house is beautifully decorated, warm, cosy and has absolutely everything you could need for a country retreat. Selina is so welcoming and super helpful. We arrived to a gorgeous well stocked hamper full of yummy local bits and bobs. The location is perfect - Freshford it's self is absolutely stunning and there is so much to see in the local area. We will most definitely be going back and can't wait!

“Excellent location”
Reviewed 22 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Comfortable property, beautiful village setting with very narrow roads. Perfect for taking the train into Bath - only 10 minutes.
Unfortunately security deposit has not been returned on date promised so will think twice about booking again.

“It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Ivythorpe Coach House”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Ivythorpe Coach House was an absolute find! We arrived to warm, spacious and comfortable accommodation, both upstairs and down and an overflowing basket of provisions, generously provided by Selina. The property had large glass doors, which opened easily, so we could enjoy the view of the church and across the glorious Limpley Stoke valley. Freshford is a beautiful village, with a well-stocked shop, an inn serving delicious food and a mobile pizza (rated excellent by our friends from the US) two nights a week. The nearby station had frequent trains into Bath and we visited Stonehenge, Avebury, Bradford on Avon, Stourhead and Wells, which were all within easy driving distance. There were some lovely walks in the area along the River Frome and Somerset Coal canal, with a good pub (and an aquaduct) at Avoncliffe. A week was far too short!
