I was running a two day workshop in the conference facilities here and staying. Isabelle was super helpful with all my last minute requirements. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was a little slow on service (lunch was +1.5 hours even when we said we were on a tight schedule) but that might just be me needing to slow down! The rooms are quiet (despite a railway right next door) with the front facing having an epic view of lake Geneva.
Very modern hotel. Nice rooms. Super sound insulation as they are right on the road. The trade off is the great view though. Short walk to Cully, which is a posh suburb of Lausanne.
You’d stay here to walk to Cuully or train / boat to Lausanne, or to have a wonderful dinner at their restaurant, which is brilliant
We stayed one night at this hotel.
The room with a balcony with a nice view of the lake but it was also noisy from the road and train. There is also a loud air conditioning in the room which we were unable to turn off. The room was very basic and plain. It was ok for just one night but I would not want to spend any longer there. It is quite expensive for what you get.
Air conditioning not working. No alternative, or discount offered. Had to keep windows open at night to the noisy road and train track next to it. Rooms are spacious. We had a good kitchen attached. Small terrace balcony with good views.
The hotel itself is ok, not spectacular but very clean and I would say that the price was fine. The thing which I cannot understand is the breakfast. One waitress responsible for cleaning tables / bringing plates etc. so you need to wait until you even can take a seat. For the breakfast, you can eat disgusting scrambled eggs / cheap ham/cheese and croissant. There was no even bread and we had to wait for it...
For a 4 star hotel its like a cheap joke
