This smart hotel is a few steps from Vevey railway station so has excellent public transport links. It's also just a 5-minute walk to the market place, old town and lakeside.
The front desk staff are very welcoming and the check-in swift. They go the extra mile to accommodate special requests. My room was newly decorated and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. Though on the top floor it was accessible by lift, and also had windows you could open yourself...always a plus.
The breakfast is served in the brasserie style dining room...good buffet choices and great coffee.
I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return myself before too long.

The Astra hotel is very well located right next to the train station Vevey. I stayed multiple times in this hotel for business trips and was always very happy with the rooms, the service and the entire experience.

I booked a "2 nights for the price of 1" special deal with this hotel, plus it came with a free 100 CHF Vaud card, plus a free Montreux Riveria card, plus 20% off by paying with WelQome vouchers. Put it all together, and I thought, "it can't be THAT good..." But it really is.

A perfect central location, right next to the train station (but we didn't hear any trains from our room), with a Coop Pronto 2 minutes away, and a large shopping centre across the road. The lake is a 3-4 minute walk away.

The rooms are large, modern and spacious. Mine came with an Nespresso machine, fridge and small kitchen area... perfect !

There's a cool rooftop bar (with really good music during Afterwork drinks), plus a hot tub area you can privately reserve for 1 hour. Even the bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning was great in the room.

That, plus an amazing breakfast (salmon and fresh strawberries?! Wow!!).

This hotel just exceeded all of my expectations, and before checking out, I had already booked my next trip here with my children, as the (free) Riveria card would let me take them by boat and get entry to Aquaparc and all kinds of other cool places, for freeeeeeee.
