I have dined at Pastis twice during two overnight stays. The whole hotel is splendid and the restaurant itself has a very nice feel about it as its cozy, not too many tables. There is a great glass wall between the kitchen and your way to the restaurant and you can see the staff there preparing food. The staff is attentive and as always in Germany, you get a great selection of wines (wites better than reds, in general). There is an interesting dinner menu, meat-heavy, which hits the right spot for me. I had a steak tartar and fois gras. Fois was good, but the steak tartar lacked some flavor, I potentially wouldn't go for it again. Overall a great place to dine.
