After finishing a great day at a Weihenstephan sponsored golf tournament it was great to sit outside on the verandah, enjoy the sun, great beer of course and very professional service. The food was excellent, a nice selection Bavarian specialties for starters, a great rack of suckling pig and sumptuous chocolate and berry mousse dessert.
Mix in some original Bavarian music, the ambience and you have a great experience.

The actual brewery tour was less than expected. You no longer can see the production (bottling) process, just the brewery process. However, the tasting room was set up nicely, and we got to interact with people from other courntries. Beers were very good, but I knew that before going.

The night before our brewery tour, we dined here after beers in the garden. Excellent food and service.

Located near the oldest brewery in the world and the famous TUM university this is a good option for typical German food! The restaurant is huge and there's an outside area for summer days. Theres a fix menu the entire year and some seasonal dishes ( like asparagus) from time to time. Fair prices. Staff is mostly friendly. There are some nights you get a few irritated waiters. Not a restaurant I would like to visit every week since the food is very heavy but perfect for tourists! I've had better Schweinshaxe but it sure looks good. Try the Braumeisterpfandl or the duck!
