How can a hotel build the suana right below the Hotel rooms? Our room was 30 degrees Calcius and it was 20 degrees outside. I woke up in a pool of my own sweat at 1:30. Just stupid to not have a AC in a supposidly 4star hotel!
Never going back!

Let's start with what is very good, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom is always amazing the shower especially, also the breakfast in the restaurant is very good and also the staff is super friendly and ready to help.
No what is not good, reception stuff is not friendly And not willing to help, wifi in the hotel is very poor and if you dont reserve dinner and want to eat after 9pm you are doomed. English level is low and tv channels only in german.

Stayed one night at this "wellness" hotel, although the wellness section is small. It needs a renovation badly, as do the rooms. The hotel room was "outdated", worn flooring all around, beds were not up to standards. The bathroom was very small and looked very outdated as well. The sauna's were OK at best, but the Turkish bath smelled like a sewer. The breakfast was very good though, and they have a nice à la carte restaurant. The view from the hotel is beautiful. The price was to high, and the four stars are questionable. Not recommended.

Room tip: Book a hotel room in the new wing of the hotel. These rooms should be much better.

Our family stayed here as part of an inn-to-inn walking tour through the Blackforest at the beginning of the "walking/hiking season" in Germany. We stayed here on our first night and last night of a 9-day trip. Both times we were very impressed with the location, the views, the peaceful surroundings and wellness offerings at the hotel. The hotel is located at the top of a hill with lovely views of the surrounding valley and forest. There are plenty of nearby trails for those who wish to use the hotel as a home base for an active holiday. It is a bit far from any of the more touristy towns--so you would need a car or be willing to do a bit of hiking to get there.

The food was delectable "traditional" Blackforest fare--well prepared and well presented. The breakfast has such a wide selection we just had to try everything--which made our first day of hiking a bit slower than we anticipated! If you like smoked meat, this is your place (although they had plenty of other options with muesli, breads, fresh fruits and veg, as well as a large assortment of local cheeses).

From the moment we checked in until we left the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were warm and welcoming with plenty of space for our family of 3. The pool and other spa facilities were clean and very well maintained. An added bonus was the complimentary transport to and from the train station at Titisee with a delightful driver who very proudly pointed out all of the sights of the area as we drove to the hotel.

This is a great place to stay if you want to have a relaxing visit and enjoy some nature (with an option for some serious pampering if you are so inclined).

Beautiful setting in Black Forest hills near Titisee. Spacious well laid out & equipped rooms in peaceful setting. Lovely walking area. Helpful staff. Had good quality meal in panorama restaurant. Opted for 5 course half board meal - great value. Had after dinner drinks in hotel bar by fire. Good range of Spa facilities including pool & had relaxing massage. Would highly recommend hotel for relaxing wellness & walking break.
