While staying in Weiden I had some time to kill before meeting friends. Anywhere in Europe, I really like to find a cafe or coffee shop to relax and people watch.
My first impression was that this was a kind of "hip" place. There were a lot of young people there, but some old timers like me, as well. The weather was cold, but I definitely would have sat outside on a nice day.
I ordered just a plain coffee that was served up by a couple of young guys. They were friendly and spoke English when I needed help. Seating is cozy and most of the seats in the main area face outside. In the back there are couches and chairs. I chose the little (and I mean little) bar against the wall. I was kind of centrally located.
The coffee was very good and served, as typical, in real cups with a glass of water and a sweet.
Definitely worth a stop.
