Well it wasn't what we were expecting!! Play area ok and pool is nice. Chip shop ain't that bad either. Toilets a bit grubby but that's more to do with the guest then the cleaning staff whom were always seen doing their job. Club house could do with a massive up grade as could the arcade where half the games don't even work!! We camped but sadly the spaces are very cramped together so you could hear the next doors conversations even when talking in a low voice. Most of the playground "fair" rides were not working. Beach looked nice but I'd advise to wear sturdy shoes down due to the uneven road. Entertainment was quite good. The kids liked it and adult bit was also good. This site is good if your planning on leaving the site everyday but if not I'd suggest lots of board games else you will be very board.

We stayed in a static caravan which was clean and tidy, in lovely condition. We didn't pay for sea views so couldn't moan about the location. We were opposite a very tightly packed camping field, I wouldn't have liked to camp!! The toilets were a bit grubby but with so many people I can see why! The beach views from the beach field (camping) was amazing and access to the beach just fantastic! I can't reccomend this place for location enough! The staff were always friendly and helpful! We had a night of very bad weather and the staff had put warnings up for the campers and even were patrolling overnight through the worst of it to check on the campers! Overall a little run down but a great place to stay, we had a lovely week!! Beware of the traffic down the lanes on the change over days! But the staff do their best to coordinate this and it does help!!

A very clean site with plenty to do for the kids. We stayed in a 3 bedroomed caravan which was situated quite a way from the beach, but that didn't matter all the twins wanted to do was play in the park or play with children from nearby caravans, which was great for me as it kept them amused. There are good walks around the cliff tops which leads to a pub/restaurant in Harlyn itself. The beach is sandy with plenty of rocks when the tide is out. A lifeguard is on hand but its best to take caution of the flags!!!! Although the sea looks inviting there are plenty of currents around which many holiday visitors don't know about so do check before entering the water!!!! There is a nice indoor pool with slide should the weather not be so good. Internet is available but it will cost you approx £6

It might boast great views and it’s not far from the beach. That’s correct!

However, during our stay there were large holes by the traffic route which resulted in a serious fracture requiring hospital treatment. Amazingly, the holes were covered before the accident book was even dusted off.

Entertainers were dull to say the least and it was often the same old stuff. Cash Bingo was done when suited instead of the so called planned schedule. In the tatty ‘What’s on’ guide, it clearly states “Under 18s can play bingo but an adult must buy the ticket”. Don’t be fooled; that’s not the case!

During the 7 days we were there, they appeared hot, exhausted and were sweating on stage with no air conditioning. The only fan above their head kept being turned off as a joke. Another night, a member of staff slipped on the stage and also stood on a plug that was left out. Disaster!

The Chicken Tikka meal in the Jolly Ollie Diner was a microwavable one with a £8.45 price tag! The breakfast was nice, but sausages didn’t arrive at the same time for my wife. Toast never arrived at all for any of us. Milkshakes were not mixed correctly despite a £2.50 each charge!

The entertainments team sat on the table next to us at breakfast and were blatantly making sexual references and inappropriate comments which were overheard by my children. Disgraceful.

I have emailed them twice before posting my review, but failed to even get an acknowledgement. It seems to me they do not care about your holiday experience, or their brand / reputation.

Carry on as they are and I would give it a few years before they will eventually sink! So, don’t book too far in advance.

It's a small site, not a lot of things to do for the kids. It's really a place to go if you want to spend most of your time at the beach.
The central area is a bit sparse. A chippy a small arcade and a small club make up most of it, they also have a shop but this closes at 8pm. There is a central play area for the children to play which is generally overtaken by the bigger kids with bikes and footballs so the smaller kids get pushed out. The pool is OK although the changing areas could do with a bit of a clean up.
Overall not to bad as long as the weather holds up, if you have a couple of days of rain and can't visit the beach it's the pool or nothing.
