Emily & Phil were very accommodating both for myself and others. They offer a range of accommodations ranging from the campground for rvs to well appointed rooms with separate kitchens. Their place is low key with lush central gardens and a morning coffee bar and yoga. It is suitable for those into kiting or people wanting to explore the area and have a quiet home base. The community kitchen has all amenities and friendly co-residents. Casa Verde has good wifi recep

We had a great time staying here, the owners were available, friendly and full of suggestions. The rooms were cleaned daily and very comfortable. It was safe and right on the beach, with hammocks and chairs. Complimentary paddle boards and a coffee shop right at the hotel. Even when it was really windy, the way the buildings are arranged provided a mostly wind free sitting area, which is important when coming to a place known for it's wind! Also a great sauna to use on colder evenings, and morning yoga sessions!

Casa Verde is a lovely place to stay. Emily and Phil (and their dog Lola) are friendly hosts who help make your visit to La Ventana simple and wonderful. If you're here for kiteboarding, kitesurfing, SUPing...you're right on the beach and set up with everything you need to do that easily. Was great to have the communal kitchen and a coffee bar onsite. Lovely little restaurants nearby/walkable, great kiting schools nearby/walkable. Nice to have the Casa Verde bikes to ride to nearby taco stands and larger grocery.

Room tip: Rooms on the top floor apparently can hear the roosters more easily. On the ground floor, we could not.

My wife and I stayed here over the Christmas week and had a great time. The beach is right outside the back gate, and you're just a very short walk to Baja Joe's or Ventana Windsports for kiting lessons or gear rental. We didn't need a car here, so Emily & Phil arranged a shuttle from Cabo for us. Very nice to not have to set that up ourselves.

Emily and Phil are fantastic hosts and even invited us to a Christmas potluck since they knew we were coming in on Christmas and would have trouble find a place to eat. There are some restaurants close by, but the communal kitchen made it convenient to whip up a quick meal.

I look forward to coming back again!

After debating renting a house or going the hotel route we chose Casa Verde for it's central location, amenities (kiting, yoga, SUPs, kayaks, hammocks, sauna), and community. Casa Verde exceeded all expectations. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it's beachfront location is perfectly situated next to the best kiting spots and restaurants. Phil and Emily are the most gracious, generous, and knowledgeable hosts, including us in their daily downwinders, showing movies, and creating a great overall vibe. The rooms were perfect. Cruiser bikes were available and they brew a great cup of coffee. Adding to the perfection was the great community of friends we made during our stay, something that wouldn't have been possible had we rented a house. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking to enjoy the splendors of La Ventana!

Room tip: Go for the casitas with the outdoor kitchen or patio
