We had a wonderful ski holiday in Club Med Alp D’Huez with a super Club Med staff. The kids club was very good. The hotel was new and the terrace is very confortable with the hot wine services and some music times. The food choices in the restaurant was a lot and they were delicious all the time. The shop was also full of lovely and very useful products. I especially want to thank the lady Menekse in the shop as she was very helpfull and kind during all shoping experiences. I also want to thank the bar manager Tuncay, the gourmet restaurant staff Mutlu, luggage department Arthur, transfer manager Berat who all made our holiday unforgatable. Looking forward to new holidays in this lovely hotel the next years.

We have been to different club med centers during several years and this is the second time we’ve been to Club med Alpes D’huez. Comparing with 2 years ago, the service quality has dropped drastically. Apparently the former Chef de village Olivier Niang left, and the new chef doesn’t do a good job.
If you want your children to have a good vacation, do not come to this resort. The Baby club and Petit club are the worst daycares we’ve ever seen. The adult to children ratio is low, and the experienced professional is missing. We received message almost every morning saying that it was complicated to take care of our child. We need to rush back from the ski slope and take the child back nearly every noon. Yet we paid the full fair for baby club. We are NOT alone. A number of families are in the same situation.
The GOs in Petit club are not professional as well. They did not show any passion to the children (we did see their passion in dancing on the stage). My older daughter refused to go to petit club everyday, which is absolutely not normal as she stays in daycare since 7 months’ old and it never happened.
If you have booked a trip to this resort, be careful about the transfer. The organization is a nightmare. If they promise to give you a confirmation later, do not wait for it because you won’t receive any. Be careful when they ask you to “pay by cash”, you could actually pay by card but you need to insist.
The quality of the food is OK but definitely lower than 2 years ago. A number of dishes use overnight ingredients.
All in all, we were really regret to see a Club med resort proposed such low level service. It does not deserve at all its 3-trident level.

Thank you to Charlotte of petite club, for her patience and kindness to my daughter.
Thank you to Danny of the bar service, it’s always a pleasure to talk with you.
Thank you to the woman with yellow headscarf of room service. (Sorry I forgot the name). She made a marvelous cygne with the towels. It made my children smile.

Room tip: Avoid the transfer service! If ever you need the transfer service, talk directly to the traffics manager, not others!

Below my expectations. And this is my 7th Club Med trip. And always with a group of around 20 people.
Service quality and food variety at Club Med are going down and prices are going up. That makes me to think twice next year...
