The hotel was clean and attractive, the room was not huge but adequate and well furnished, the toilet was separate from the bathroom. The really outstanding feature was the staff. Without exception they were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and their service was always with a smile. (Special mention here for Salomee whose smile would brighten anybody's day). Good location, plenty of parking, excellent restaurant right next door. I see that people have mentioned the noise from the road, our room was at the back and very quiet.

The staff were friendly and encouraging, however the room was unbearably hot. After three nights we were pleased to leave the hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road and junction, so if your room is on the front and you open the small windows you will be kept awake by the noise.

The hotel could open doors or windows in the common areas to create a through draft. But they didn’t. Non of our family of four managed a full nights sleep. Literally sweating in our beds... it was only mid 20’s outside so do not understand why the room was so hot.

I do not recommend the hotel for the summer months, but would recommend for the cooler times of year...

Good room for the price, but not when the weather is hot. My room had no air conditioning. The hotel is close to a busy road. Closed windows keep the road noise out perfectly well, but if you open the windows because it is too hot you can't sleep due to the road noise.

Everything was as it should have been for this type of hotel. The only remarkable element which might sway a decision to stay was the breakfast. On the down-side, quite pricy at 11.50. On the up-side, it was very good: good croissants, bread, fresh juice, fresh fruits, bacon and eggs, good coffee, jams in big pots rather than plastic sachets, good selection generally. We didn't know Gap, but touring the town briefly it seemed there might be a parking problem; however here on the outskirts, its own car park.

Cons : Stayed for one night July 2016. Outside temp 28°C (82°F), inside felt like 33°C (92°F). No ventilation, no A/C !!. Horrible and stifling. Room was very small and dark. Had to open both window and room door to get some form of ventilation. When you open de window the frame covers half the TV. One of the worst hotel experiences ever.
Pros : Secured parking lot, very friendly welcome, WIFI.

I do not recommend staying here in summer.

Room tip: Stay away from this hotel
