We selected the standard room with a sea view and terrace. Yes the terrace had a sea view but not the room. The terrace is narrow but acceptable. Even has a clothes airier for your swimsuit. There are undercover car spaces which in summer would make a huge difference. There are rooms on the ground floor, and a continental breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace. The bathroom is a bit small and sees us climbing in a bathtub for a shower which isn't fun as we get older and less stable on our feet. The bedroom is a step up from the entry, and the terrace a step up from the bedroom. The room is quite small but we've stayed in smaller recently, we don't plan to spend much time here. Decor is simple and there is a fridge but no tea and coffee making. The TV offers BBC world news which we appreciate having not known what was happening in the world. The wifi disconnects frequently which can drive you crazy, three times during this review! There is a good size wardrobe with safe but the safe wasn't connected to the wall.
The beach is a walk across the street just metres away from our room. You can rent a deck chair and umbrella and even pay 20c for a shower on the beach. Marion (receptionist)'advised the water temperature was 17 degrees, bracing is what we think!More
