We received a warm and friendly welcome from Jane, the owner, on our arrival. We were offered tea whilst Jane sat down with us to tell us all about the local area and the best times to visit Mont St Michel. We were very pleased that we followed her advice and visited Mont St Michel that evening as it was virtually empty and a wonderful time to see it. When we returned the following day we were herded in with the masses and the experience wasn't nearly as pleasant. Jane also advised us where to eat and drink etc and we were really grateful for the guidance as, being vegetarians, it would have been really hard to find a suitable eatery without her help. Really comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and quiet location.

My boyfriend and I want to see Mont St Michel over the holidays, and Jane and Paul at the Au Bon Accueil B&B made this trip happen. Due to a series of travel delays we thought we were going to have Montparnasse because the trains didn't run late enough, but Jane figured out an alternate train station with later hours where she was able to pick us up and save our vacation to the Mont St Michel! (Which in itself is a worthwhile trip to make!)
On top of their amazing hospitality from the start, they also drove us to a local creperie that was amazing! and to the Mont and back as well.
The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, and the rooms were clean and cozy. Not to mention the English hospitality - Jane was always sure to offer us tea :)
I would highly recommend staying here
