We stayed for four nights in August and travelled as a family.

The hotel is right by the beach and a ten minute walk into Cabourg.

We loved the indoor and outdoor pools. Both contain sea water and were warm. Kids are only allowed in the indoor pool from 11am - 2pm and after 5pm but this wasn't really an issue for us.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful but expensive - we ate elsewhere for most of our stay as we were out doing activities.

The hotel is modern and decorated in an airy contemporary style. Our room was tiny which wasn't ideal as we had an extra child's bed - when we arrived this bed was placed across the balcony door so we had to rearrange things in order to use the balcony. The partial see view was very partial! I don't think we were allocated the best room for our needs, probably because the hotel was full.

This hotel is fine for families but not particularly family friendly. We thought is was better for young (well behaved) kids or babies. Most if the other guests during our stay were older couples.

We hired bikes in Villars sur Mer, played crazy golf in Cabourg, visited Deuville, Houlgate and Honfleur (including the Naturospace). We had dinner at
Le Biquets (good) and Le Beau Site (not bad), both are near the hotel and have sea views. The market in Cabourg is quite big and bustling.

Visited here for 3 nights before moving further up the coast. Hotel was very nice, reception staff were very helpful and were very patient with my limited French. They upgraded our room to a sea view (which always helps). The spa area was great especially for our seven year old daughter who would have lived in the lazy river if she could have. Opening hours for children were fine especially considering a lot of the clientele are older people who appreciate a little peace whilst they are relaxing or trying to do gentle exercise. The outdoor pool has no restriction on times of use for children, we were only sorry we didn't use it before our last day as it was a great temperature and quiet, perfect for doing lengths.
Only minor issue was breakfast was a bit of a bun fight, there were problems with the coffee machines which led to fairly long queues and the food was not replenished. We got down to breakfast around 9.15 am (it finished at 10 am) and various items had run out.
Overall we would return to the hotel, great location close to the beach and about a 7-800m walk along the promenade into Cabourg.

2 nights with family. Hotel is OK. Very good location just by the sea! Swimming pool is nice (heated sea water). Rooms are tiny. They are mainly a Spa facility so the rest is rather simple for a 4 star. Breakfast good but room too small. Cabourg itself is beautiful. Would recommend if you want to unwind and use spa/pool.

Room Tip: Get a room with a sea view in front

I spend 4 nights in this luxurious hotel. Upon my arrival I got a upgrade to a room with view on the sea, really great! The room is very neat and modern. I did not use the breakfast but for a additional 21 euro per person you can choose to do so. Unfortunate I saw too late that using Tripadvisor for booking would actually give you the breakfast complimentary! This hotel has a nice Spa area. being guest of the hotel allows you to use the inside and outside pools, both with view on the sea. when exiting the hotel from the back you are entering the boulevard and beach. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center of Cavour were there are a lot of nice restaurants and a Casino.

The restaurant is the best part of it.
The room service is not very Professional. The cleaning staff doesn't always respect the sign "Do not disturb". In a hurry to pick up the trays, they Knocked on the door even if we didn't finish our breakfast.
