We stayed for four nights in August and travelled as a family.
The hotel is right by the beach and a ten minute walk into Cabourg.
We loved the indoor and outdoor pools. Both contain sea water and were warm. Kids are only allowed in the indoor pool from 11am - 2pm and after 5pm but this wasn't really an issue for us.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful but expensive - we ate elsewhere for most of our stay as we were out doing activities.
The hotel is modern and decorated in an airy contemporary style. Our room was tiny which wasn't ideal as we had an extra child's bed - when we arrived this bed was placed across the balcony door so we had to rearrange things in order to use the balcony. The partial see view was very partial! I don't think we were allocated the best room for our needs, probably because the hotel was full.
This hotel is fine for families but not particularly family friendly. We thought is was better for young (well behaved) kids or babies. Most if the other guests during our stay were older couples.
We hired bikes in Villars sur Mer, played crazy golf in Cabourg, visited Deuville, Houlgate and Honfleur (including the Naturospace). We had dinner at
Le Biquets (good) and Le Beau Site (not bad), both are near the hotel and have sea views. The market in Cabourg is quite big and bustling.
