A touristy restaurant on the main road by the harbour. The staff were friendly and fast. The food was a little unimaginative and the 'Welsh', a local favorite made mostly from melted cheddar, was actually too salty for consumption. The mussels were nice, though again, nothing special.

After two weeks travelling in France we arrived at a cold and wet boulogne ready for the train tomorrow. We wanted one good last meal and this place was just right. Good food, good service, good atmosphere, good price and good night France till the next time.

Popped in for a light lunch but got carried away with our order, so glad we did.
Starter Calamri delicious, Main mussels in curry my favourite husband had them in blue cheese sauce which he enjoyed both came with frites.
Café gourmand with baileys was exceptional had one to share which we was struggling with but managed to clear the plate.
Staff very helpful and pleasant
Don`t miss it

I agree that the service here was very good. The young man who served us was friendly and helpful, but the food was really only average at best. The mussels were tiny and gritty. The steak was tough and the pud was standard fare. The house red wine was very nice.
There are some really excellent restaurants locally so this was a bit of a disappointment.
Try Le Swan up in the old town its lovely. Service and food.

No matter what, if you aren't welcomed and put at ease then the best food in the world will have a taint to it. This little place offers sensible, good food at a fair price but their best asset is the calm and relaxed service, without being too intrusive your needs are taken care of and you get a good meal with an after-taste of satisfaction.
