Disgusting place to stay in, was not hygienic and had stains all over the bed covers. One day me and my partner came back to the hotel and found that two of my possessions had gone missing along with some of our food, nobody else had access to the room other than the cleaners as the key had to be handed in every time we left the hotel. When my partner went to reception to complain he said he did not understand, although he spoke very good English. The bathroom is also shared with other people in the hotel, and always looked and smelt as if it had not been cleaned. Would not recommend to anyone

Room Tip: Don't waste your money.

This was not much more than a hostel. The shared toilet, uncomfortable bed, noise from the sub way and the room was as dirty as a public toilet.

We arrived at midnight, slept in our clothes as it was dirty, managed about two hours sleep and checked out and into the Oceania hotel on the corner at 7am.

I knew I would get what I paid for, it just wasn't expecting soooo bad

I thought the hotel was very dirty, very small and not anything like the pictures advertised.Shared bathroom which is not what I paid for as it was not explained properly. I certainly would not recommend to anyone. Hotel staff did not help at all. No nearby restaurants suitable for dinners and no air-conditioning in the room for summer temperatures. No lift to any floor and I felt very unsafe staying in Hotel Luxor

Room Tip: I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

I was looking for a night to stay in Paris, on a conference trip
to Tours, Loire Valley. I was coming in to France on an Air India
flight (AI 143 DEL-CDG), which did not connect well to the TGV to
Tours. I was booked on a TGV to Tours the next day (05 Apr,
2014), and wanted to stay at a place relatively close to Gare
Montparnasse, from where the TGV set out.
I cannot speak a word of French, and to avoid any
misunderstanding, I wished to stay close to a place where I would
not need to ask for too many instructions. I wanted a place
closes to Gare Montparnasse, and be able to do a bit of
sightseeing, as well. I booked the last available room at a
relatively affordable rate (just above Rs.5000, on
expedia.co.in), since I was on a tight budget. After getting down
from the Air France bus at Montparnasse, I alighted the Metro
from the station Pascal (it was a mistake, the Montparnasse
station has a connected Metro station as well). I took a metro
train towards Marie D'Issy, and got down at Corentin Celton. The Hotel
was a walking distance from the station. It took some time to
find it in the dark. The hotel turned out to be value for money.
The room is tiny, with enough space for a bed, and a small
bathroom. It was neat and clean. The wireless Internet did not
work, but I was not too worried. I was able to communicate with
the gentleman at the reception in English.
I just stayed the night there, and set out for my sightseeing
with my bags, at around 6:15am, when I was told that I could
catch the first metro out of the place.

Room Tip: A road-facing room has a nice view of the street, and the compound across the street
