Stayed here on several occasions and on this visit found that the Hotel had been refurbished. Rooms still on the smaller side for a family of 3 but adequate and beds very comfortable. Swimming pool nice compact size and safe for children. Nice spa pool as well. Refurbishment has made great improvements to bar/reception area and now has lovely outdoor seating area at the front and an assortment of seating at the enclosed rear of the hotel with small play area for children. Not really eaten in the restaurant on previous visits as it was not very appealing, however much improved with good menu and fantastic buffet.

Room Tip: Rooms for 3 are on the small side, choose a duplex for more family space.

The hotel is located within 5 minute walk of the ocean (and ~ 20 min walk to centre of town). The rooms are very small but well designed, with enough storage, a decent bathroom and flat screen TV. Hotel has a restaurant, with a great breakfast buffet. Dinner is also served at the hotel (daily specials and a la carte). Choice is limited and quality is average but pricing is fair. Not a bad choice for a family on a budget. Restaurants also serves snacks 24/7. A bar is open all day and has some basic drinks / cocktails. Patio is off the restaurant and a nice place for a drink or dinner.
The hotel has a great swimming pool and hot tub (as well as a small sauna and steam room). A shuttle is available if you need a ride.
One of the greatest asset of the hotel is the staff, who were really great (restaurant, reception).
Not so good:
About 35% of the rooms face the parking lot. Each day (except Sundays), heavy trucks deliver goods between 6 am and 7 am. Very noisy ! (engine, hydraulic platform). It really bothered us. Management offered to move us but we declined.
Also, car parking is not large enough in the summer. You may end up parking on the street.

Nothing special about the hotel, it's not particularly beautiful. Staff is really polite and efficient. Room (22) with an extra bed for a child was really really small. Mattress was really good and we heard very few noises from outside the room.

We stayed in a duplex room with 1 TV & double bed downstairs & 2 singles & TV upstairs. Public areas comfortable, play park & toys in reception for children. Pool & spa were very good. Breakfast had good choice & quality of food & drinks, was more what you would expectativas from a 4 star than a 3 star hotel.
