Beautiful garden and pool...clean modern rooms...friendly staff....parking...minutes from the lovely town of Obernai with bars and restaurants....whats not to like about this hotel. It was recommended to us by friends and it was better than they described...Thanks.

We had a brief visit to Obernai and found this hotel to be adequate. It would benefit from a refurb. The rooms were small, nothing fancy, but fine for an overnight stay. It takes around 10 minutes to walk into the town centre. Parking on site which is useful.

the check in was smooth and quick
the hotel is Nicely presented
the rooms are on the small side which was fine for us because we were only starting for one night on route to Switzerland but any longer and I think it would be a bit cramped

the disappointing bits were the lack are charging points in the room and when you have sat nav, phones etc proves a bit frustrating

the show was hand held which I havnt seen in a hotel in a while ?

the staff were very nice and all in all it was a good stop off point

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the old town. It's clean and comfortable, new building rather than the twee. The room was a bit small but nicely decorated with a full bath. Nice pool with sun beds in the garden. Free onsite parking. Reasonable value.

Free Wifi worked quite well did fall out now and then. The buffet breakfast was an extra 12 euro per person. We did not take it.

Multi lingual Staff were friendly and helpful.

Before arriving you get a welcome mail where you are encouraged to tell, what you would like to have more input on when arriving. The mails gives you the impression that they care and they want to give you the best start for your stay in Alsace. Super, as this was our first stay in this region, - nice gesture and we felt welcome.

Anyway, as we checked in, they apparently forgot all about the mail. On the following day we mentioned the mail, and they found a suitable leaflet at a stand next to the reception.

Some of the receptionists were not very good at English (few of them were good at any foreign language, including German).

The first day after returning from the local town (before 23:00), we did not find any people at the reception. We searched and have to wait five minutes before arrival of an employee. Not a huge problem as such, but bending over the desk, I could take my own key (or any key to any room for that matter) without anyone noticing. Scary!

The breakfast was ok, but they did not clean the tables fast enough. Looked like a mess! The restaurant has too few employees or the wrong attitude.

First day, cleaning forgot to change/renew the disposable glass in the bathroom and the bottle of shampoo. Not a great start, but this is human, and we can live with this. Second day, they made our bed (pillars still on the floor, where we left them) but basically forgot everything else (to vacuum the room, replace the wet towels at the floor and the plastic cups, etc.). Cleaning did not seem to be part of the services of this hotel.

The rooms as such were small, but for the purpose of having a quiet place and comfortable bed to sleep in, the rooms were fine. As one of few hotels in this world, they do not have a safe deposit box in the room. Maybe this is standard for a three star hotel.

Pool was fine and the garden was nice.

The hotel and the surroundings are actually fine, but what this hotel needs is attitude and care for the guests. It has potential to have a four star categorisation in trip advisor.

This hotel is not recommendable.
