My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel last July.

The room was spacious, modern, clean and with a lovely bathroom with walk in shower and separate wc room.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, although pretty expensive, but we didn't mind as it was a great way to start the day.

The views from the hotel are stunning and the hotel is set in a lovely green area.

The service was OK, although one of the ladies at reception, Nouara, was quite arrogant and abrasive in her manner and was not at all friendly.

Overall a lovely hotel

I was literally taken aback by this charming hotel, it has a small but friendly and efficient staff, the rooms are clean, comfortable and very well kept, the view from the pool is breathtaking, everything is simply delightful!
I especially loved the pebbled shower floor and the fragonard fig bathroom amenities! The two gigantic lounging cushions under the shade of a tree in the garden are idylic!
Up the hill on Santa Guilia Beach, consider renting a car if you have young children as walking might not prove a good idea!
Breakfast outside was a plus!

The thing that struck us the most with this hotel, my better half and myself, is the silence...Yup, barely 10 rooms, an enormous, gorgeous pool just for the 10-20 guests depending on day, plenty of patio space with loungers and umbrellas, very pretty rooms with plenty of space, gorgeous views and gorgeous weather, this is by far the most relaxing place ive been on vacation in my short life. We spend religiously our end-of-afternoons for 5 days on the loungers around the pool just napping or reading, basically not doing anything other than saying this is the life we wish we could have all year long...Its quiet, its nice, its is soothing and we were not the only ones around feeling the same way.
Most rooms have a balcony or patio with view on the ''guarrigue'' , some chairs and table to lounge, with the lucky few having a Baie de Santa Giulia view but did not matter for us at least. The rooms are spacious and comfy, minibar is full and the shower has pressure.

Breakfast @18 euros is totally worth it in our opinion, this is not a dry croissant , some oj and some coffee. Rather you get cereals, exquisite local delis, various goat cheeses, choice of bread, eggs, fresh croissants, prob. 6 kinds of local jams, honey, various breads etc. We were looking forward to breakfast every morning.

Staff is definitely professional and they are there to help you, from afternoon drinks to helping you out with reservations, Nouara knows what the hell she is doing. Speaking of which, they have the staff to match the Alivi's positioning, this is not some tourist scam, typical of france and corsica.

As for the location, depending on the year you will find Santa Giulia crowded or not, nonetheless the beach is cristal-clear and gorgeous. Worst comes to worst take the car, there are plenty of secluded beaches around the area and worth visiting.

On the negative side though, no room service at night, no tubs at least in our room, beach is a 15 minute walk down the hill, the wifi pretty much only works when you are close to the reception area (you need to ask for your access at the reception) and mid august is the high peak season for santa giulia so expect loads of people outside the hotel gates.

The hotel rooms are very spacious with a balcony. Toilet is seperated from teh bath room. The hotel is build in an area surrounded by holiday rentals.

The swimming pool is round, which is partially deep and partially undeep.

The breakfast is outside near the swimming pool. Inside you can pick from the buffet BIO products.

Only the reception is a litlle to much French to be good ;-) Was very bussy, didn't notice us and then showed us quickly our room. When we checked out, we told them that they were very difficult to find on the www, and they were aware of it and found it also difficult to find there hotel as well on the internet ;-(

For lunch or dinner you have to go out. In front of the hotel is a nice lunch restaurant with swimming pool. There we had a salad and a spaghetti: GREAT FOOD ! It's only open on Fridaynights for dinner : only 1 menu + resrevation is requested.
