We had to go to Zapala for a “trámite” and decided to stay the night rather than drive in very early. The hotel is a bit expensive, but so is everything in Zapala. It’s easy to get to from the national road and it offers gated parking, if there is space. We arrived at midnight and were well received. The casino bar could offer us a hamburger and a drink before going to bed. The burger was surprisingly good and big, but the gin tonic that I drank was very poorly made.
The room was clean, with two single beds, although small. But we were there to sleep, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was warm, with the same problem as so many other places, the shower curtain gets sucked in until it sticks to you...
There could be more electrical outlets. We had to unplug the tv and a lamp to charge the phones.
