We went with our 8 young children, ages 18MO to 12YO for the half day morning trip and everyone had a good time. We got to learn some about the elephants, feed them, and help "bathe" them. All the elephants we encountered seemed very gentle. Our 3 year old did get shoved by one of the small elephants leg, but was virtually unscathed. It would have been nice to get a little more educational information. Elephants all seemed well cared for. Prices seemed comparable to other places I looked into. Transportation from and to our hotel, provided by the sanctuary, was good. I would recommend this place to other families with young children.

We spent a half day with these beautiful animals at KANTA recently. The whole tour was perfect from picking us up at allocated time, great facilities at KANTA and well worth the visit.

The 15 elephants were just unreal. Feeding them and washing them wash the highlight of our trip so far to Thailand.

Great cause for the elephants.

Me and my sister really enjoyed our time at Kanta Elephant park! We learned a lot about elephants from our knowledgeable guide Tommy. The elephants are clearly very well looked-after and happy. Bathing them was a great experience.

We would both highly recommend, this was a highlight of our time in Chiang Mai!

Our hotel recommended this place saying that it was the one sanctuary everyone consistently gave positive feedback for. And I understand why.

We went for a morning visit which was perfect with small children (5, 2.5, and almost 1 year old).

The intro talk wasn’t the most engaging but the time spent with the elephants was truly wonderful. They are clearly well cared and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be with these beautiful animals up close. We fed them sugar cane and bananas and then bathed them. They have 2 photographers who took excellent quality photos that you can buy for 1300 baht (I believe). Well worth it and had I known I wouldnt have bothered taking any photos and just taken some video.

It will be something my 5 year old remembers forever.
