“Honest Description of Apartment”
Reviewed 4 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Apartment was everything we thought it would be - very close to bars, restaurant and bus stops. Judy and James were very nice and on hand when needed but not intrusive. The area is wonderful and we hope to go back when possible

“Perfect hide-hole in a picturesque town”
Reviewed 5 April 2013 for a stay in August 2012

A well presented apartment which is more spacious than it might look from the pictures (for UK readers to whom 70 square metres means little, think 'a large lounge' then double it) certainly bigger than any double room in any hotel you'd find. It's the ideal size for a couple and with the sofabed, you could bring a child as well. Although it has a table and kitchen, you'd be unlikely to use it for anything other than breakfast as it's located within very easy walking distance (2-3 minutes) of the town centre where there are plenty of good restaurants and shops (bring an Italian dictionary though, as not much English is spoken). The beach is a short (but steep) 15 minute walk. The owners are very helpful and the apartment contains a 'dossier' which contains about as much information as you could ever need on the town. The apartment and the town are both hidden gems!

“Fantastic historic centre apartment”
Reviewed 9 March 2013 for a stay in August 2012

Tastefully furnished and well equipped street level apartment, very centrally located in a quiet and quaint street in the historical old town just, a few steps from the many restaurants, bars, shops, panoramic walkway and places of interest. Can walk down to the nearest beach within 10 minutes. Really lovely welcome by owners who were so informative and helpful. We rented for 5 days visiting villages nearby and enjoyed not having to drive anywhere in the evenings as everything was on our doorstep. We even hosted a dinner party on one night!

“Location, location, location!”
Reviewed 8 March 2013 for a stay in May 2012

Loved this apartment! Large, really clean, masses of character, and really romantic. It made a great change from the monotony of small modern apartments we usually stay in. It was in the old part of town, so fabulous location; a really quiet road but only minutes away from the classy shops, bars and restaurants. Although Vasto is not 'touristy', and very little English is spoken, the locals are very friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely beach very near, and great views from the town, but you may need to get a bus down to it, if elderly. This is a medieval town, so lots of interest and culture here. We loved the local food and Prosecco, plus it is really reasonable! We will definitely come back to Vasto and this lovely apartment again next year.
