We have had a home in Todi for several years now and have dined at the Trattoria Da Piero e Silvana many times and we find it truly outstanding. Daniela, Manuele and Silvana are very warm, generous and friendly people, and Silvana is an amazing cook. She prepares meals in the Umbrian tradition, including a lasagna that melts in your mouth. Her cacio e pepe is as good as any you'll find in Rome, her straccetti (veal, arugula, grana with a touch of balsamico) is delicious! Scaloppine di tacchino a limone -- thinly-sliced turkey breast in a fresh lemon sauce -- is another favorite. And, of course, she serves cinghiale (wild boar). If you are in Todi you MUST dine here. If you're not in Todi, you MUST come see our beautiful little city and dine here!
