An incredible culinary experience, in an old world feel restaurant. The maître d' was brilliant, it was a pleasure watching him engaging with us and the customers; that perfection is rare these days.
The food was fine, full of flavour and balance, presentation breathtaking in sight, smell and taste. We had the most incredible wine.
It was a magical afternoon.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this restaurant. The quality of the food is enough to make you speechless, just continuous moans of delight almost made this meal like a scene from When Harry Met Sally. You know the one! Service top notch, food incredible.

On a cycle tour of Umbria, staying in Spoleto. The food was excellent, service outstanding. Bread was amazing, surprise meal ordered by friend was very interesting and tasty, the salmon I had with beetroot was quite simple to die for, I strongly recommend!

This restaurant was fabulous. We went because it was recommended in the travel section of The Daily Telegraph but it turned out to be even better.
The staff were very communicative and helpful which made our choices of food even better for the occasion.
So far from the sea, the fish courses that we chose were wonderful: traditional fish like mackerel, cod and scallops were served with unexpected twists. Nothing took away from the natural flavours.
A wonderful white wine was well recommended coming from just up the road in Montefalco.
Puddings are often a weak point in Italy but not here.
We ended the meal very happy with the restaurant, service, food and drink.
Cannot understand why this should be merely third on Trip Adviser.
Highly recommended especially outside on a summer's evening like tonight.

Arrived at Spoleto after an early start from Capri to Naples, then, on the road to Orvieto before finally arriving at Spoleta late afternoon. Just enough time to freshen-up before heading to the Ristorante Apollinare. We were in a Group and walked from the Hotel dei Duchi nearby. A quaint decor with several connecting rooms. Comfortable feeling. Good food and matching wine. The truffles a great addition to the menu.
