Despite reviews saying how difficult this hotel was to find,we drove straight to it. One word of caution though, get in clear in your head how to get into Sestri's centre, otherwise, like us, you'll be pushed onto the motorway and it's a long drive back!
The staff were very helpful and courteous, the room spacious and clean with it's own terrace. The breakfast, again contrary to some reviews, was plentiful and high in quality.
The views are spectacular, a great place for a sun downer ,as the sunset is astonishing.
Sestri itself is not hugely car friendly, so the weakness of this hotel ie it's proximity to the town, is it's strength with hassle free parking. However you do need transport, as it's high on a hillside overlooking the bay, hence the spectacular view. The drive in takes approx 10 minutes max. All in all we found this hotel excellent value and as we had our car with us, totally perfect.

lovely hotel, great rooms and helpful staff. Only drawback are the windy roads to it but it is worth it for the views.

The view of the coast was panoramic, the rooms were small, but comfortable and the breakfasts were far better than reported by others on Trip Advisor. Parking was tight, but there was room for all guests. The staff gave excellent travel tips and anticipated our non-travel wishes. The wireless was out for our entire 5-day stay, but a LAN was available in the lobby and a cable was provided for our convenience. The neighboring Kontiki restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with a 4-course dinner that was very reasonably priced. We ate there more than I would have guessed. We were surprised and very pleased with a gift on our departure.

We were a little concerned about booking here after some of the reviews but were very pleasantly surprised. The room while not large was beautifully presented and had a large window with a beautiful view. Great small bathroom. The staff were excellent and very helpful. There was a good buffet breakfast and a lovely patio area to relax in. You definitely need transport as it well out of town up on a hill, but this just adds to its charm.

Our overall impression of this hotel was that it was very reasonably priced and very clean throughout. We had a room off of the lobby which was ample in space and had a nice bathroom. This room also had a patio that was used each night. One night we were treated to a squadron of fire flies!! Which were amazing to view.

The continental breakfast was wonderful with a great assortment of items: Cereals, cheese, pastries etc. The expresso was good and very welcomed in the morning or any time of day.

The staff were always available and very helpful.

You must have a car for this location. The main town is approximately 7 minutes away. The location is very tranquil. The Kontiki restaurant next door is a great dining experience with reasonable prices for hotel guests.
