For two hungry pilgrims walking the Francis way, on Sunday afternoon when everything is closed, Giovanni welcomed us in at the end of his lunch hour. He prepared us a very nice plate of antipasti, stake salad for my husband and a very nice Italian rendition of bacalao. He then showed us his wine cellar as we were looking for a bottle to take to our hotel (every shops were closed). He even 'lend' us wine glasses to take along for he insisted that the wine should be drunk in the proper glasses. The place was clean, homey, hospitable and most importantly, very good food. We enjoyed this place.
