We just returned from a two week stay at the Lemon Garden in the hills near Ravello, Italy. Although the view from the terrace is magnificent day or night, this apartment does not offer much in the way of comfort. On the plus side, it was very clean, the air-conditioning worked very well, and the owners were very gracious to provide breakfast foods for the first few days, and fresh bath towels. The down side is that the furnishings are not comfortable. Plastic chairs are provided on the terrace, and the bed slept like a pull out sofa. Clean linens were provided each week, and there is a washing machine, but no dryer which is common in Europe. The location is fairly remote, and don't underestimate the difficulty with climbing 144 steps to reach the apartment. It was an enjoyable stay, but with some basic improvement, it could have been more comfortable.
