Sorrento to Amalfi and Ravello Full-Day Tour
Reviewed 4 December 2017

This place is a must see if you get to Ravello, in fact it is a must see if you are in the Amalfi Coast. The iconic photos with the tree and the two domes overlooking the ocean was taken here. Absolutely worth the 5 euro entrance fee. It amazes me that some people come to the Amalfi Coast and are too cheap to pay 5 euros to visit a place like this.

We got married around the corner from here and had our photos here with our bridal party. Loved it. Highly recommended.

Ravello, rising above the rocky cliffs overlooking the sea is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, location of internationally renowned musical performances, the 11th century Barisano da Trani, and the remarkable Villa Rufolo. The historical Villa Rufolo has exceptionally beautiful gardens and often houses fine art exhibits. There is a modest entrance fee but you are provided a fine English written guide of the Villa's numerous rooms and unique architecture. The local guides suggest that Italian pizza was born here and show the huge wood-burning stone oven to confirm the legend. Fabulous views.

Someone must to be kidding to charge 7 euros to enter this place. It's nice, it has great views, and that's all I would be able to say. A scam if you ask me.

Nice place to have a walk and enjoy the view. We were not so lucky with the weather but anyway with rain the atmosphere is amazing.
Entrance 7eur, worth its price
