My wife booked this hotel in April for 3 days stay in June, notifying that we would arrive in the evening. The day of arrival, on our way to the hotel, my wife called to inform them about the exact time. A woman answered the phone and said: “There is a problem with the reservation, I have to call bookingcom”. She hang up the phone before my wife had time to ask what the problem was. My wife called again and again and we also called from a different phone and nobody answered!!! Half an hour later someone from bookingcom called and told us that there was a problem of overbooking of the hotel. They suggested to us another hotel and pay the difference of the price (28 euros). We dint't like the suggestion because it was quite far and without parking. We spoke on the phone with bookingcom 3 or 4 times that evening to arrange our stay but we couldn't find any satisfying solution. Bookingcom was trying to solve the problen in contrary to the hotel. Later we called again the hotel for explanations and as earlier nobody answered. Overbooking is one great mistake. Not answering the phone (to explain and try to solve the problem) is unacceptable behavior and shows the character of person who runs this hotel. We were very dissatisfied. Still waiting for an excuse... Definitely NOT recommended!!!
